Go To Webinar Event Creation
Watch this video for an overview of how to create a webinar. This video also goes through quickly the webinar creation form process, which you may or may not be doing.
Steps in creating a webinar:
1) Go to: http://www.gotomeeting.com/online/collaboration/
2) Click "sign in." For the username and password, email sirrfs@gmail.com with your current role in the RFS and reason for request.
3) On the left of the screen, you will see a blue star and "My Webinars." Click this to expand the options, and you will see "Schedule a Webinar." Click "Schedule a Webinar."

4) Enter the webinar title, description, date/time, and Co-Organizers/Panelists. All of this information is in the RFS Webinar Setup (Responses) Excel after the RFS Webinar Form has been filled out. This information can be copied/pasted to make webinar creation faster.
For webinars, begin each webinar title with "SIR RFS Webinar: "
E.g. SIR RFS Webinar: Building a PAD Practice

5) When adding "Co-Organizers & Panelists," click the "edit" button to expand the selection, then add the presenter(s) and host Name and Email address under the "Specify Panelists" section. Do not add Jackie Cochran as an organizer.

6) Click "Save and Continue" to move on.
7) On the next page, you will have to upload the SIR logo and create the Webinar Waiting Room page. For the SIR logo, simply click "Upload Custom Image" and upload the SIRlogo.gif file. The file can be downloaded below (right click, save as).

8) Fill out the Webinar Waiting Room information. The name, title, and organization of the presenter can be found in the RFS Webinar Setup (Responses) Excel after the RFS Webinar Form has been filled out. This information can be copied/pasted to make webinar creation faster. Character limits might require you to shorten the presenter's title/organization. Try to find an image of the presenter to upload. You will have to limit the size to no larger than 100 x 100 pixels. If you need help editing a photo, email sirrfs@gmail.com.

FINALLY add a quick welcome message for when attendees arrive, for example: "Welcome to the RFS Webinar. We will begin shortly. Please check out our webpage, http://rfs.sirweb.org, if you haven't yet."
9) Click "Save and Continue."
10) Finally, fill out the required "Registration Information" for attendees.
a) Click "Clear All," EXCEPT Country. As of August 2014, we are collecting Country information.

12) On the "My Webinars" page, the registration link to share for advertising can be found after clicking the "yellow cross."

13)Finally, email sirrfs@gmail.com with the following format for your event, so the RFS Event Calendar can be updated:
